Privacy Policy

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data provided in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. This information is used to help detect and prevent spam.

An anonymized string (or hash) created from your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to determine if you use it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes publicly visible in the context of your comment.

Data Retention

If you leave a comment, both the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments without placing them in a moderation queue.

For registered users (if applicable), we store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except for their username. Website administrators also have access to edit this information.

Data Sharing

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security purposes.

Your Rights

If you have an account on our site or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any information you’ve provided. You may also request the deletion of this data. Please note that this excludes data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

Data Processing

Visitor comments may be screened through an automated spam detection service.

Embedded Content
